Destiny Coleman is a Sophmore at Grand Canyon University from Saint Louis, Missouri. Her major is Government with an Emphasis on Public Administration. Destiny is an active member of the Honors College Leadership in Action program and Canyon Civic Institute. She is also an Arizona Talks Intern and is apart part of the Esther Funds Foundation, designed to help support college students through their educational journey. Destiny’s goals upon graduation include attending law school and becoming a practicing Constitutional Attorney, starting a Mental Health foundation for people of Color, and eventually becoming a businesswoman and member of the United States Congress.
“REACH is important to me because it encourages students to keep going despite the challenges they may face despite their post-secondary educational journey. It helps students to feel seen and supported, even if they may feel like they do not come from the greatest village. I am looking forward to being able to be a blessing on my campus through EFF and REACH and be a voice for students who may have went through similar circumstances and overcame those challenges.
